Women
Women in life
Give lessons out like kisses
Freely at first becoming fleeting over time.
Learn quickly from these strangers
There is something you should know
She whispers in a dream
You will miss your self completely
Never knowing who you are
Before you act unseemly
Go out and drink the snow.
My mother taught me nothing
I learned from reading signs
McDonalds, Arbys, Burger King,
Remembering these times,
My mother cried in daylight,
Whispered please don’t go.
I ran to san Diego,
I ran from all the snow.
I kissed the beaches freely,
Turned fleeting over time,
Drank joyous with new strangers,
Learned nothing in my time,
My father hollered briefly
As I lay unable to sleep,
These women all are bitches,
None so good to keep,
If they are all from Venus,
And you and I from Mars,
Remember boy this lesson,
Only time can sew your scars.
